About The Role

We’re seeking Software Engineers to take ownership of the ongoing design and development of their platform, working cross-functionally. You’ll gain exposure to a wide range of products within the ecosystem, enabling you to broaden your technology, product, and business skillsets. You’ll work on a diverse range of challenges as you support an award-winning team.

In This Role, You Will:

• Create and implement scalable, reusable object-oriented systems and components.
• Write clean, modular, and well-documented code for easy reuse in future projects.
• Develop web applications, middleware, and integrate third-party systems to fulfill business needs.
• Work with the team to plan, prioritize project iterations, and track progress toward objectives.
• Develop automated tests to ensure code quality and stability.
• Engage in code reviews and design discussions for new features.
• Provide ongoing maintenance, monitoring, and support for live production systems to ensure optimal performance and continuous operation.

You Might Thrive In This Role If You:

• Over 5 years of hands-on experience in commercial Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) with Java in a highly technical environment.
• Expert in developing and consuming REST services, with proficiency in React, Angular, or Angular.js, and other MVC frameworks.
• Strong analytical and logical abilities with a deep understanding of design patterns, Java MVC frameworks, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and concepts clearly.
• Dedicated to meeting deadlines and staying current with the latest web-scale technologies.
• Experience with Scrum or Extreme Programming project methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
