Our client is looking for a talented and experienced Senior Data Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines that combine data from third-party APIs with the company’s first-party data to create a comprehensive overview of the relationship between the company and its customers. You will also support the development environment used by the company’s analysts and data scientists, managing workflows of machine learning models and deploying elastic compute resources for model execution.

Role

Design and build data pipelines that power the company’s machine learning algorithms and reporting
Support the development environment used by the company’s analysts and data scientists
Deploy elastic compute resources for model execution
Monitor and troubleshoot important pipelines
Provide ad-hoc analysis and advice to stakeholder

You

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
5+ years of experience in a similar data engineering role
Strong experience in Python and SQL
Strong experience with cloud-based data storage and pipeline platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
Strong experience with Docker, Linux, and Git
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
