Principal Product Owner – DeFi & Digital Asset Platform

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE (Hybrid Working)

Compensation: High base + Bonus, Benefits & Relocation Package

Our client is building the next chapter of financial infrastructure in the MENA region, combining digital banking with real crypto utility. They’re not here to copy/paste Web2 into Web3. They’re here to rewire how money moves, how assets are held, and how finance works in a regulated DeFi environment.

We are looking for a Principal Product Owner – DeFi Platform to lead the strategy and execution of their stablecoin and digital asset platform. You’ll own the roadmap from day one…everything from token lifecycle operations to custody, liquidity, and DeFi protocol integrations. This is a chance to build critical infrastructure that connects regulated banking with the decentralized world.

What You’ll Own

• Define and lead the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for DeFi, stablecoin, and digital asset stack
• Make high-leverage build vs. partner decisions – evaluating networks, custodians, wallet infra, liquidity partners, and on/off ramps
• Design and oversee token lifecycle architecture – minting, burning, transfers, redemptions, and compliance layers
• Ship features across wallets, custody, payments, and blockchain integrations – balancing speed, scale, and safety
• Partner with compliance, risk, treasury, and engineering teams to build secure, auditable, and resilient systems
• Track ecosystem shifts, regulatory developments, and emerging protocol infrastructure
• Define success metrics, own OKRs, and deliver measurable business impact

What We’re Looking For

• You’ve shipped digital asset or stablecoin products in fintech, crypto, or digital banking environments
• Deep understanding of blockchain infra, stablecoins (collateralized or algorithmic), custody, and tokenized finance
• Strong product judgment and prioritization – you know when to ship fast and when to slow down for scale or compliance
• Technical fluency – able to engage on smart contract architecture, wallet design, token standards, and custody models
• Track record of owning product from 0 to 1, including scoping, delivery, and iteration
• Familiarity with the regulatory side of digital assets – especially KYC, AML, asset servicing, and risk frameworks
