A rapidly growing technology company is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong backend expertise—particularly in Node.js—to join the team behind a secure, scalable voice and payments platform. The role supports the evolution of cloud-based SaaS products used by enterprise and contact centre users across Australia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead backend development efforts using Node.js and related technologies within a modern full stack environment.
- Enhance and support two core platforms: an Intelligent Voice Platform and a PCI DSS-compliant payments solution.
- Translate technical and business requirements into robust, scalable solutions.
- Collaborate in Agile sprints and contribute to continuous improvement across systems architecture, security, and performance.
- Explore opportunities to integrate emerging technologies, including AI and real-time communications.
About You:
- 5+ years of experience in SaaS or cloud-based development, with a strong focus on backend services.
- Deep hands-on experience with Node.js; exposure to .NET is a plus.
- Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, and modern front-end frameworks (e.g. React, Angular).
- Comfortable working in distributed systems and Agile environments.
- Desirable: experience in payments, IVR/call centre tech, or voice platforms.
