Role: Senior UX/UI Engineer / Product Designer (Agentic AI)

Location: Sydney (Hybrid)

The Stack: Figma, Rapid Prototyping, Generative AI

Most design roles ask you to polish pixels. This team is asking you to design behavior.

We are recruiting for one of Australia’s leading AI consultancies. They aren’t just building “wrappers” around ChatGPT; they are deploying fully autonomous agents into some of the country’s largest enterprises.

They need a Design Engineer (Mid-Senior) who sits right at the intersection of Product, Design, and Engineering. You aren’t just handing off static screens; you are rapidly prototyping how AI agents think, speak, and interact in the real world.

The Mission:

You’ll be working alongside some of the sharpest engineers in the region, delivering “0 to 1” solutions. No hand-holding, no bureaucracy – just building.

Who you are:

A Builder:

You don’t wait for permission. You prototype rapidly (Figma, Framer, maybe even some FE code) to prove your ideas work.

A Translator:

You can hold your own with engineers. You understand technical constraints and can design around them.

A Behavioural Designer:

You understand that AI isn’t just UI—it’s conversation, logic, and flow. You know how to design for “Happy Paths” and “Hallucinations” alike.

Independent:

You have ~5+ years of experience and a “go-get” attitude. You can run a room and own your output.

The “Nice to Haves”:

• Banking/Fintech Experience? That would be amazing. (This role involves complex, regulated environments, so that background is a massive plus.)
• Experience designing for LLMs, Chatbots, or Agentic workflows.
